Return and Refund Policy
Preamble
At GoldEvil, every product is carefully designed and manufactured specifically for you. We take pride in offering high-quality items that meet your expectations and preferences. However, if an issue arises regarding the quality of your order, we are here to assist you in resolving it.
1. Return and Exchange for Defective, Incorrect, or Misprinted Products
If a product has a manufacturing defect or does not match your order (e.g., incorrect model or misprint), we accept returns and exchanges under the following conditions:

Reporting Deadline: You must report the issue within 14 days of receiving the product for an initial return or exchange.

Return Conditions: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and kept in their original condition with all tags intact.

Proof of Purchase: Please provide proof of purchase and photos illustrating the issue encountered.

Return Fees: If the product is defective or non-compliant, we will cover the return shipping costs, in accordance with Article L217-11 of the French Consumer Code. If these conditions are met, we will offer either a replacement or a full refund, including return fees.
2. Unique Products
All our products are custom-made, meaning they are created specifically for each order. Due to this unique nature, we cannot accept returns or refunds for personal preference reasons (e.g., change of taste or wrong size).
However, if a unique product has a manufacturing defect or does not match the order, it can be returned under the legal warranty of conformity or the legal warranty against hidden defects, as per applicable laws.
Tip: Please carefully check the size and design before finalizing your order.
3. Legal Warranty of Conformity
What is the Legal Warranty of Conformity?
The legal warranty of conformity obligates the seller to provide a product that:

Matches the description given by the seller (size, color, material, etc.).

Is suitable for the usual purpose of such a product (e.g., a coat should protect against cold).

Has the qualities promised or reasonably expected (e.g., the durability of a leather jacket).
Duration of the Warranty: The legal warranty of conformity is valid for 2 years from the date of receipt of the product. During this period, if the product has a defect or does not match the description, you can request a repair, replacement, or refund.
When does this warranty apply?
It applies if:

The product has a defect (e.g., a seam comes undone after the first wear).

The product does not match what was ordered (e.g., you ordered a black dress but received a red dress).

The product is not suitable for normal use (e.g., a raincoat that is not waterproof).
Exceptions for Custom Products:
When you purchase a custom or made-to-order product, the legal warranty of conformity still applies for defects or non-conformities. For example, if the product has a manufacturing defect or does not match the order (e.g., incorrect printing), you are protected.
What is not covered:
The legal warranty of conformity does not cover personal errors, such as choosing the wrong size or color, or changes in preference. If the product matches the order but the buyer regrets their choice or made a mistake in the specifications, this is not considered a defect, and the seller is not obligated to accept a return or refund.
4. Legal Warranty Against Hidden Defects
Under Articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code, the seller is responsible for hidden defects in the product, meaning defects that are not apparent and render the product unfit for its intended use or significantly diminish its utility such that the buyer would not have purchased the product if they had known about the defects.
Duration of the Warranty: The buyer has 2 years from the discovery of the hidden defect to take action.
Possible Solutions for the Buyer:

Cancellation of the Sale: Full refund.

Price Reduction: Partial refund.
Exceptions for Custom Products:
The warranty against hidden defects also applies to custom products if a hidden defect is identified. For example, a manufacturing defect not visible upon receipt of the product.
What is not covered:
Defects caused by improper use or modifications made after receiving the product are not covered.
5. How to Initiate a Return
If you have received a defective or incorrect product, follow these steps:

Products must be returned exclusively to the following address:

This address is strictly for product returns. No returns should be sent without first contacting our customer service.

Before returning any product, please contact us at contact@goldevil.com to receive the necessary instructions and authorization.

Any return made without prior authorization may be refused or not processed.

All other correspondence (e.g., notices, letters) sent to this address will be returned to the sender.
Return Fees:

If the return is due to our error (e.g., manufacturing defect, incorrect or misprinted product), GoldEvil will cover all return shipping costs.

If the return is for another reason (e.g., change of preference, wrong size or specification not related to non-conformity), the return shipping costs will be borne by the buyer, in accordance with our policy.
After receiving and inspecting the item, we will offer either a replacement or a full refund, including return shipping fees (if applicable).
6. Processing Time and Refund
Once the return is validated and the item inspected, we will proceed with:

A refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

Or the shipment of a new product.
